Going-To-The-Sun Road Alpine Section Closes

The season is over for traversing the Going-to-the-Sun Road up in the Park. As of 10:00 Sunday night, the section between Avalanche Creek and the Jackson Glacier Overlook is closed for the season.
We’re told hiker-biker access will continue as long as weather conditions allow. Eventually, the Going-to-the-Sun Road will close at the Lake McDonald Lodge on the west side and at Rising Sun on the east side.
