Glacier National Park will continue its vehicle reservations program next season…with a bit of a twist. Those of us entering through West Glacier will now have–what they’re calling, a “timed entry reservation”. Basically, if we intend to enter the Park between 7AM and 3PM, we’ll have a “time slot”. If we miss our “time slot”, we’ll have to wait until after 3PM that day, so make sure you choose your “time block” carefully…and don’t be late. The exact times of the “time blocks” haven’t been determined, but will also apply to the North Fork Entrance at Polebridge.
As we did last year, we can get in as far as Apgar without a vehicle reservation. On the East side, no vehicle reservations will be necessary. Same for Two Medicine.
If you have lodging, camping–including Fish Creek and Apgar campgrounds and commercial activity reservations originating in Apgar, your vehicle entry reservation is included.
The construction in the Many Glacier Valley continues into next season.
