The first major step in the process to build 355-single-family homes in the Tronstad Meadows and Whitetail Crossing Development is complete. The measure will come-up for a second reading and vote at a future Kalispell City Council meeting. If approved, dirt will begin moving along Tronstad Road bewteen Hwy 93 and Whitefish Stage Road.
The area will be rezoned R-2, as Developers Frank Garner and Jon Sonju reduced the project down from 380 to 355-homes and reduced lot sizes substantially.
Citizen concerns about the ability of Tronstad Road to handle the increased traffic were addressed by Garner and Sonju.
