The Glacier Wolfpack has advanced to the State Double-A semifinals with a shootout win over the Butte Bulldogs, 48-38 Friday night at Legends Stadium. When we say “shootout”, we mean 12-touchdowns…7-of which were scored by the Wolfpack. With that win, only the Gallatin Raptors stand in the way of Glacier making another appearance in the State Championship game. In Class A action, both of our Flathead Valley teams fell short of moving into the state playoffs. Laurel posted a 35-21 win over the Columbia Falls Wildcats. Unbeaten Billings Central outscored the Whitefish Bulldogs, 55-21, pitting the Maroons against Fergus County-Lewistown. As for the Laurel Locomotives, they’ll the Havre Blueonies Satuday.
