The winter season is kicking in up in the Park and the seasonal road closures are showing it. The Going-to-the-Sun Road is open up to Avalanche…for now. On the east side, you can get-in as far as Rising Sun and, we’re told, that’s it for the season. The west side will close at the Lake McDonald Lodge soon.
Up the North Fork, the Bowman and Kintla Lake Roads are closed for the season. The Cut Bank Road is closed at the Park boundary for the season. And, now, the Many Glacier Road is closed at the Park boundary for the season.
