Now twice the bridesmaid, the Glacier Wolfpack find themselves having to settle for 2nd in the State with their 34-21 loss to the Capital Bruins in Helena Friday night. For the Bruins, it was their second state championship in the last 3-seasons.
Wolfpack Coach Grady Bennett says, “Our guys fought hard; we just didn’t play particularly well. A lot of penalties.. it was just so out of character. I said several times on the sidelines, ˜We are not being who we are.
He continues, saying they collected, “A lot of penalties, a lot of dropped passes. I don’t know what it is about this stadium, we’ve dropped 11 passes total in this stadium this year.”
Of his team, he tells us, “it’s pretty special when you just don’t ever want a season to end.”
