KGEZ’s Associated Press Correspondent Jackie Quinn is reporting that Americans are concerned that their votes are counted correctly and the FBI stands ready to intercept any irregularities. FBI Deputy Director James Barnacle tells us that, from threats to election workers, foreign maligned influence, cyber threats are being taken seriously and where it might happen, the FBI will investigate immediately. They’re running 24/7 for the next 2-weeks. Some polling stations, she reports, have installed bulletproof glass to protect their workers.
Flathead County Elections Supervisor Paula Buff, appearing on the KGEZ Good Morning Show, tells us everything anyone can do locally is being done to assure voters their votes will be counted correctly.
