39-year old Eric Appl is the latest man to try to outrun Kalispell Police and, like the others, he’s landed in jail. It all came unwound for Appl around 11:30 Tuesday morning when police turned-on the red and blues on East Idaho Street. The Officer recognized Appl as someone who has several warrants out for his arrest. So instead of stopping, he stepped on the gas.
Not a good choice. Eric Appl is in the Flathead County Detention Center with an opportunity to deal with those outstanding warrants and, a few new felony charges from the high-speed pursuit through Kalispell.
