Governor Greg Gianforte is providing assistance to Georgia in its response to Hurricane Helene. He sent an Incident Management Team to Macon, Georgia, where their Emergency Operations Center was destroyed. The 15-member Type 3 Team, led by Missoula Disaster and Emergency Services’ Ken Park, will assist with planning, resource management and public information.
The State will be reimbursed through the Emergency Management Assistance Compact between the states.
