Dillon Man Sentenced In January 6th Insurrection

An appliance store owner in Dillon will be spending the next 2-years in a Federal Prison for his role in the January 6th, 2021 insurrection. 55-year old Henry Phillip Muntzer, known around Dillon as “Hank”, made social media posts and was spotted in videos inside the Capitol. Prosecutors say he spent 38-minutes inside the Capitol and was involved in physical confrontations with law enforcement. In addition to the 2-years behind bars, he was sentenced in Federal Court to an additional year of supervised release and has to pay $2,000 in restitution. People living in Dillon say Muntzer has a pro-QAnon mural on the building that houses his appliance story. (Photo:  KTVQ)
