It was over 7-years ago when the Montana Department of Transportation determined that the intersection of Batavia Lane and Hwy 2 West needed some safety measures. Now, after years of research, a plan has been created…and we’ll see Tuesday afternoon, February 4th at the Smith Valley School.
Montana Department of Transportation’s Bob Vosen tells us the plan, crafted in conjunction with Rebert Peccia & Associations, is ready for us to see and provide feedback. It looks like the winning design is a round-about, after considering 4-options, but, Vosen says, we’ll see after receiving input from those who use that intersection.
The Open House is Thursday afternoon, February 4th, from 4:00 to 7:00 at the Smith Valley School, on Hwy 2 West.
