There were more skiers at Whitefish Mountain Resort during the holiday season than ever before.
With more snow that at any other ski location in the state, a record 62,500 skiers hit the mountain during the holiday week.
That breaks the previous record, set 2 years ago by over 8,000 skier visits.
It probably seemed like the mountain was more crowded than usual, because Chair 2 was inoperable due to updates made over the summer.
Chair 2 is a quad-chair serving intermediate and beginner terrain.
