The man accused of stabbing 3-people in St Regis earlier this month has entered a non-guilty plea in Mineral County District Court. Thomas Philip Gunderson Jr (pictured) is charged with 3-counts of attempted deliberate homicide. He remains in the MIneral County jail with bail set at $1-million.
Prosecutors say Gunderson stabbed the victims with a hunting knife…one of them–a 13-year old girl, 11-times, puncturing both of her lungs. The other victims, Gunderson’s sister, called 9-1-1. The other victim, the woman’s 71-year old father.
There’s evidence that Gunderson suffers from schizophrenia.
Next court appearance is March 19th.
