Kalispell will have a new mayor next year. That’s the final word from Mayor Mark Johnson, who’s completing his 3rd term. In the 12-years he’s been mayor, he’s only been challenged once–by fellow council member Sid Daoud, who now says he’s not a candidate next year.
So, who will step up to be Kalispell’s next mayor? So far, nobody is showing their cards, but there is speculation that Council President Chad Graham may be exploring the opportunity.
Mayor Mark Johnson, who we dubbed “Mayor Mark” on the KGEZ Good Morning Show, cites the creating of the Parkline Trail and the completion of the Hwy 93 Bypass as his biggest achievements as mayor.
