They’ll have to settle for #2 in the FCS as the Bobcats finish their amazing season at 15-1…that “one” is the loss to the North Dakota State Bison last night on KGEZ. The final score, a heartbreaking 35-32.
Fight as they might, they just couldn’t overcome the 18-point deficit they took into the 2nd half, and it was an onside kick that sealed the deal for the Bison, leaving the Bobcats out-of-time to get that last 3-points.
And so the battle continues…the Bobcats quest for their first national championship in 4-decades. For the Bison, the dynasty continues with their 10-national title in a dozen years. The Bobcats haven’t fared well against the Bison, losing 5-times in the past 6-seasons.
