Whitefish Mountain Resort Sets Holiday Skier Record

There were more skiers at Whitefish Mountain Resort during the holiday season than ever before.  With more snow than at any other ski location in the state, a record 62,500 skiers hit the mountain during the holiday week.  That breaks the previous record, set two years ago by over 8,000 skier visits.

It probably seemed like the mountain was more crowded than usual because Chair 2 was inoperable due to updates made over the summer.  Chair 2 is a quad chair serving intermediate and beginner terrain.
