Construction of the new Bigfork Bridge Street Bridge beings next Wednesday with an anticipated completion by the end of June. Word is, they intend to work through the winter, expecting some delays because of the weather. The plan is to dedicate the new bridge during their annual 4th of July celebration in Bigfork.
Heading up the project is Montana-based Battle Ridge Builders, who doesn’t foresee any issues for residences and businesses along Bridge Street during construction.
The Montana Department of Transportation, working at light-speed on the design, will keep us advised weekly on the bridge’s progress.
