Each year, our local Rotary Clubs present the Great Bear Festival. This year, for the first time, it will be in the O’Shaughnessy Outdoor Amphitheater at the Wachholz College Center. Plans are already underway for the Festival beginning at 3:00 Saturday afternoon, August 16th.
Along with upwards of 15 breweries, wineries and cideries, live music from the Mike Murray Duo on the amphitheater stage beginning at 6:00. And of course, food trucks.
This year, they’ve added more family-friendly activities, like a free-throw contest in the college’s gym, puppies from the NW Montana Humane Society, and a mini-art fair and kids art corner.
And the profits go to the many local Rotary projects, including Rotary Basketball, Rotary’s Summer Leadership Camp, High School Scholarships, and other local needs.
Tickets go on sale soon.
