Many families still like to do the traditional Christmas Tree search and the National forest Service is making that easy…and guaranteed legal. Christmas Tree cutting permits are now available at any National Forest Service Office or online through Recreation dot gov.
Permits are $2.50, but be sure to pick up the information of WHERE the permits are legal and what you should do when cutting the tree. The permit only applies to National Forest Service land in NW Montana, so be sure of where you are before you chop.
