The Montana Grizzlies men’s basketball team is set to face the Wisconsin Badgers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Thursday, March 20, at Ball Arena in Denver.
Montana, holding a 25-9 record, secured the Big Sky Tournament title for the first time since 2019, earning their 13th NCAA Tournament appearance.
They enter the tournament as a No. 14 seed and will challenge the No. 3 seed Badgers, who finished their season at 26-9.
This matchup marks the second NCAA Tournament meeting between Montana and Wisconsin, with the Badgers winning 73-49 in 2012.
Tipoff is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Mountain Time on Thursday, March 20.
