A Chevy Cobalt is no match for a train coming down the tracks. Last Tuesday afternoon, a collision between an eastbound Amtrak train claimed the lives of the occupants of the car…a 43-year old man and a 7-year old boy, whose identities haven’t yet been released.
It was on Spotted Robe Trail in the Browning area. What what we’ve learned from Montana Highway Patrol Troopers, road conditions were snow-covered when the car entered the railroad crossing. Perhaps a lack of visibility may have been a factor.
