The Flathead County Commissioners have appointed Marcia Stolfus as the County’s Superintendent of Schools to serve out the term of Cal Ketchum who has retired and left the area.
Commissioners held interviews last week with what they say were highly-qualified candidates, deciding on Stolfus at their Commissioners meeting this morning. Cal Ketchum’s term ends in December of next year. It’s expected that the new Superintendent will be a candidate for the position in the spring of 2026.
