A Grizzly Bear Warning has been posted at the Pyramid Pass Trailhead, northeast of Sealey Lake. Wednesday morning, 2-hikers treked-in to retrieve a mulie they’d harvested earlier that day. Guess who was waiting for them: 3- grizzlies running towards them.
The hunters tried to scare the bears off, but were unsuccessful…so they shot taking-down 2 of the bears. Leaving the area immediately, the US Forest Service and FWP were notified and the area is now under surveillance.
