New numbers from the Montana Department of Public Health & Human services indicates that new strain of Influenza continues to expand. Already this year–barely 6-weeks old, healthcare professionals have treated nearly 1,120-cases of the new strain of the flu. Of that, 21-people were hospitalized and 13-people have died of the new strain.
Since that new flu strain came after this year’s vaccinations were formulated, your flu shot won’t protect you. Only the usual: hand washing, social distancing, sanitizing your home and, if you’re at-risk, wear a mask.
What equally concerning, the number of COVID 19 cases continues to rise, with 253-cases reported so far this year. Of that, 7-people have died of COVID. There are COVID booster shots available.
