At Monday night’s Kalispell City Council meeting, the Council removed the “interim” from the title of City Manager Jarod Nygren. Jarod’s road to the his new position began over 11-years ago when he entered city government as Director of Planning and Development. Over the years, he’s seen to the orderly growth of what has become the fastest-growing city in the state.
Appearing on the KGEZ Good Morning Show, Kalispell City Council Member Sid Daoud they reviewed many applicants to be our next City Manager, ultimately deciding on Jarod Nygren. He tells us they received nearly 40-resumes, narrowing it down to three…one of which was Jarod Nygren. When the other two candidates declined their final interviews, it left our Interim City Manager, who’d been rated “highly qualified” by the National Search firm.
