Across America, organizers report more than 1,800 “No Kings” rallies Saturday. In Montana, more than 2 dozen are planned, several in our part of the state. Kalispell Police Chief Jordan Venezio tells us his officers respect our right to peacefully assemble and express our views and will uphold that fundamental right. Kalispell Police Officers intend to make sure that all voices can be heard in a safe and lawful environment.
However, unlawful behavior will not be tolerated. Chief Venezio tells us his department has been working with event organizers and community leaders to make sure all their events proceed safely and respectfully.
