Proving that newspapers are a special part of the NW Montana lifestyle, the Montana Newspaper Association has named our two local newspapers the best in the state. Their 140th annual convention convened in Butte last Saturday night.
It was the second year in a row for both the Daily Inter Lake –named best Daily Newspaper — and the Flathead Beacon as Best Online Newspaper. The Beacon also won Best Newspaper Website.
Last Friday, we were able to congratulate Beacon’s Connie Chung and her husband, Maury Povich on the KGEZ Good Morning Show. Thursday morning at 9:10, we’ll talk with Daily Inter Lake Managing Editor Matt Baldwin on the KGEZ Good Morning Show.
