There is–arguably, no other event that brings-out the fever in our state than the annual Brawl of the Wild…that point in the football season where the Montana State Bobcats meet the Montana Grizzlies. That event is this Saturday in Washington-Grizzly Stadium at the University of Montana.
We can expect the stands to be loaded–26,000-people coming in from wherever Montanans have wandered.
This year, both teams bring-in the league-leading records: 12-0 for the Griz and 12-1 for the Bobcats. Up for grabs is the Big Sky Conference Championship. It’s already been determined that both teams are heading into the FCS Play-offs.
