In an all-night session, the House of Representatives hammered out the “Big Beautiful Bill Act.” Finally, at daybreak in Washington, DC, the bill passed by just one vote. Obviously, all Democrats voted against it, along with Congressmen Warren Davidson of Ohio and Thomas Massie of Kentucky. What saved the bill was Andy Harris of Maryland who voted “present.”
That means that both Montana Congressmen voted along with the majority, but Congressman Ryan Zinke was able to strip out the portion of the bill that would allow the sale of Public Lands.
We’ll get the straight story from Congressman Ryan Zinke at 7:20 Friday morning on the KGEZ Good Morning Show. He’ll call in from Washington, DC to Glacier Banks Community Conversations.
