The Montana Republican Party has official endorsed Flathead District Judge Dan Wilson for the State Supreme Court. At their meeting in Great Falls over the weekend, Judge Wilson was the keynote speaker.
The Montana Free Press reports Party Chair Art Wittich outlined his 4-goals for the midterms: Retain all GOP Congressional delegates, maintain majorities in the State Legislature and to make the judiciary more Conservative and to that end, for the first-time ever, the State GOP is endorsing a Supreme Court candidate.
Wittich’s 4th goal is to unify the party ahead of the next legislative session.
