The Whitefish School District has made an offer to a new Superintendent. She is Jennifer Fee (pictured), who is now the Assistant Superintendent of the Kent Independent School District in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
There’s just one step left for the School Board…a final background check and settling on a contract.
The District has contracted with the national search firm McPherson & Jacobsen in locating their next superintendent. Chosen largely because they have a representative in Montana, the firm uses, what they call, a 5-phase protocol in putting districts together with their next superintendent.
The search had been narrowed to 3-finalists: Flathead High School Principal Michele Paine, Fair-Mont-Egan School District Superintendent Brandy Carlenzoli and Jennifer Fee.
The District’s Superintendent, Dave Means, intends to retire in June.
