The beginning of the future for the former Outlaw Inn is now in sight. We’re told that Columbia Falls developer, Mick Ruis, has bought the papers on the property and, as of May 2nd, he owns it.
He’s the one who fenced the property and hired security patrols to place the property in compliance with City Ordinances. He’s been cleaning things up, saying the “bones” of the building are sound and can be repurposed into a senior living facility.
Ruis envisions the senior living facility would come in at less than $3,000 per month, meals included. The new place will include an indoor movie theater, a pickleball court, and swimming pools. All this is, of course, if he can build it to city codes and, of course, operational costs.
Ruis hasn’t given a timetable on his plans for the property on Hwy 93 South but he’s the one who developed the Silos Apartments near the Parkline Trail on West Center Street in Kalispell.
