Both of our state’s major Universities have seen increases in enrollment this year. The University of Montana now has 11,064 students while Montana State University has 17,165. Both schools are seeing are record enrollments.
But what’s just as important, the retention rate. At the University, 77.2% of freshmen are coming back for their sophomore years. At Montana State, 81.8% of freshmen are coming back for their sophomore years.
