Hiking/Biking has been interrupted a bit up in the Park. As of this morning, you can hike/bike on the Going-to-the-Sun Road up to the Loop, 14 miles in from the Lake McDonald Lodge. This is a hard closure due to avalanches beyond the Loop. Motor vehicles can’t get past the Lake McDonald Lodge Parking Lot.
Good news, though. The Camas Road is open for the season, as is the Fish Creek Road up to the Rocky Point trailhead. The entire length of the Grist Road, on the west side of Lake McDonald is now open. Also, the The Quarter Circle Bridge Road is now open for the season.
