The search for the next Whitefish School District Superintendent has been narrowed-down to 3-candidates…2 of which are familiar names.
The District has contracted with the national search firm McPherson & Jacobsen in locating their next superintendent. Chosen largely because they have a representative in Montana, the firm uses, what they call, a 5-phase protocol in putting districts together with their next superintendent.
Flathead High School Principal Michele Paine, Fair-Mont-Egan School District Superintendent Brandy Carlenzoli and current Assistant Superintendent of the Kent Independent School District in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jennifer Fee.
The 3-candidates will be in Whitefish for their interviews Wednesday and Thursday, March 4th & 5th. The District hopes to make their selection that Thursday.
The District’s Superintendent, Dave Means, intends to retire in June.
