We’re getting a lot more information about the shots fired in Coram last night. Booked into the Flathead County Detention Center is 41-year old Anne Marie Hislop (pictured), who barricaded herself in her home and, we’re told began firing at Deputies.
Deputies were called to the Platte River home last night around 5:00 on reports of shots being fired. Witnesses slay she shot at family members as they attempted to flee the home. The stand-off began Welshmen she refused to come out of the home. The Flathead County Regional SWAT Team was called-in. They deployed non-lethal pepper munitions, forcing Hislop outside. She had to be detained by a K9 unit when, at some point, she was slightly injured.
After being treated for her injuries, she was taken to the Flathead County Detention Center, initially charged with Attempted Deliberate Homicide, Assault with a Weapon, Assault on a Minor, Sexual Assault and Resisting Arrest.
