The Flathead Braves football program is reliant on a steady flow of talent each year. Unlike professional and college programs that recruit, high school coaches are totally dependent on the school’s student body each year. And so, getting started in the middle school years is essential in keeping the talent flowing into Flathead High School.
Next Wednesday, former Flathead Brave standout, Brock Osweiler (pictured as a Denver Bronco) is hosting the “Win The Day” football camp for middle school students at Legends Stadium.
On the KGEZ Good Morning Show, the voice of the Braves, Joe Sova, talked with the former NFL quarterback about creating this opportunity for young players. He told Joe he loves to come “back home” and teach young players the art of the game and the sportsmanship that goes with it.
Brock says without Corwin Motors sponsorship, it would be almost impossible to make this camp free. He says he believes money should not be an obstacle.
