The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Homewood Suites, at the end of Hutton Ranch Road around 9:00 Monday night. Chief Jordan Venezio tells us the fire started in a while van, but quickly spread to 2-adjacent vehicles–both unoccupied.
We’re now learning at one person died in the fire, which has prompted a deeper investigation. Kalispell Police tell us we can expect a continuing police presence for the next few hours. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
