It has been nearly a year since 33-year-old Emily Rea launched her paddleboard into the Hungry Horse Reservoir. She hasn’t been seen since. An exhaustive search has turned up nothing.
Her car was found — abandoned, about 2½ miles away at the Riverside Boat Ramp. Her paddleboard was found floating upside down in Flossy Creek, drifting there, over 2 miles west of the boat launch.
Exhaustive search efforts so far have been unsuccessful. Emily’s family has offered a $25,000 reward but even that has turned up nothing substantive. So far, Sheriff Brian Heino has no evidence of foul play…but then again, no evidence of what has become of Emily.
Tuesday morning at 7:20 on the KGEZ Good Morning Show, we’ll talk with Emily’s mother, Nina Rea, who desperately wants to know what has happened to her daughter.
