The University of Montana thinks they have found their new President. The “expedited” search has turned-up Boise State University Interim President Jeremiah Shinn. He’ll be on-campus today and tomorrow participating in a series of meetings, an open forum at the University Center at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon. and a community reception at 5:00.
All this began with the resignation of Seth Bodnar, who’d served as the University’s President for the past 8-years. He is now seeking petition signatures to run as an Independent for the U-S Senate seat, currently held by Sen. Steve Daines.
The University’s Commissioner of Higher Education Clayton Christian, notes that their “robust” search has netted more than 60-applicants.
