The Stillwater Christian School will be building an Early Learning Center this spring. The funding drive has been going on for some time, including a $5-million grant from Paul Wachholz. Now, we learn the Gianforte Family Foundation is putting in $1-million.
The plan is to begin construction on the 18,000-square foot facility this spring. The School’s Head, Laura McCollum, tells us it’ll serve both Pre-K and K with a special design to handle the needs of the youngest of students. If everything holds to schedule, the facility will begin taking in students in the fall of 2026.
Located just off Willow Glen Drive, Stillwater Christian School offers a “Christ-centered education” for Pre-K through 12th grade. Today, 400 students attend the school.
