An early-morning high-speed chase was safely resolved along Hwy 93 into the south end of Kalispell. It all began at 7:30 Wednesday morning when a Flathead County Deputy attempted a traffic stop at Hwy 93 and Cemetery Road. The vehicle, driven by 51-year old Laura Ann Johnson-Daley, failed to yield…forcing the chase.
That ended on the south edge of the city when Kalispell Police Officers laid-down a spike strip. The driver is being held on a restraining order violation in the Flathead County Detention Center. Additional charges include Criminal Endangerment, Unlawful Restraint and Fleeing From Or Eluding A Peace Officer. She was to appear in court Thursday morning.
