As Sen. Steve Daines announce his decision not to run for a 3rd term, U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme (pictured) stepped in, filing just minutes before the deadline.
Now, deep into his campaign for the U.S. Senate, he’s pitted in the June 5th Primary against Republicans Charles Walking Child of Helena and Lee Calhoune of Whitefish. No matter how the Democratic Primary turns out–there are 4-candidates–Michael Hummert and Alani Bankhead, both of Helena, Reilly Neil of Livingston, Christopher Kehoe of Missoula and Michael Black Wolf of Hays. In addition there are 2-Libertarians: Kyle Austin of Billings and Tom Jandron of Clancy. And for the first time in memory, an Independent candidate, Seth Bodnar of Missoula.
The only candidate we’ve seen on the KGEZ Good Morning Show–so far, is Seth Bodnar. But that will change Thursday morning at 8:10 when we’ll talk with Kurt Alme, of Helena.
As always, John and Robin will ask the tough questions, but allow Kurt to answer them as completely as he wishes.
