The Kalispell City Council gathers for a work session Monday night with housing on their minds. Mayor Ryan Hunter has specified 5-topics for discussion: Creating an Affordable Housing and Homeless Advisory Committee, creating additional development standards for properties along the Parkline Trial, utilizing city-owned property for affordable housing and short-term rentals.
In the discussion, the Core Area Plan, the Downtown Plan and State Law regarding disposal or lease of municipal property will bind the discussions.
Work Sessions are open discussions between Council, City Staff and interested citizens. No official actions are taken.
