A major construction project is about to begin on 12-miles of Hwy 2 over Marias Pass. During the 6-month construction period, we can expect lane closures, reduced speeds and minor delays.
This is a pavement preservation project by the Montana Department of Transportation, beginning at Stanton Creek ending at the Middle Ford of the Flathead River bridge, just east of Essex.
