The work on the main runway at Glacier Park International Airport is complete. The airport is scheduled to reopen at Friday morning.
It was another exhausting week of 24-hour days to complete the repaving of the 9,700 foot-long runway, including 2-new taxiways. In addition, they’ve completed improvements to the electrical, airfield lighting and communications systems embedded in the runway.
Over 14-construction, engineering and Survey firms have been involved in the project to provide a smooth, safe runway for years to come.
Full service to and from Glacier Park International Airport is expected to resume in Friday morning.
